What are the services provided at Rooted and Grounded Ministries?

Anxiety and Depression Counseling

Our anxiety and depression services can provide a safe and supportive environment to help you process your feelings and beliefs. If you're struggling with anxiety and depression, we can help you get to the root of anxiety and depression and help you process in a healthy way, so you can experience peace instead of chaos and hopelessness.

Premarital and Marriage Counseling

The Prepare and Enrich Counseling program we use has helped more than 3 million couples over the past 30 years. Based on the couple's assessment results, we provide 4-8 feedback sessions that helps the couples address problem areas and helps them grow, heal and thrive. There is a $35 assessment fee when the assessment tool is activated.

Health and Nutrition Counseling

Our health and nutrition counseling can help you look at your lifestyle and help you develop a plan for a healthy life. Many people overlook that nutrition and exercise play a major role in a balanced and healthy life. A balance of body, soul and spirit is what leads one to a life off healing, wholeness and freedom.

Are the Counselors at Rooted and Grounded Licensed therapists?

No, However, Joy does have a Masters in Biblical Counseling and Board Certified by the Georgia Christian Counselor's Association and bound by laws of this organization (and her heart) to continue education to provide knowledgeable and competent care.

What is the cost of services?

A suggested donation of $50 per person per visit and a $70 donation per couple per visit is appreciated; if you cannot afford this amount, you can pay what you can. Please note that you will not be turned away from services if you cannot contribute at this time. Contributions help cover the expenses of renting the facility, supplies needed for the ministry, continuing education for the best care, and paying the counselor for her time.

Can I donate if I don't need services at this time?

For those who do not need services at this time, I would like to invite you to partner with me to help provide these services for those who can't afford it. No donation is too small. There is no greater joy or reward than being a part of walking others through healing and wholeness. One who is walking in healing, wholeness and freedom can impact the kingdom in a mighty, mighy way. Thank you so much for your support in advance.
